In recent decades, the narrative has shifted towards hyper-individualism and relentless self-improvement. Social media amplifies this pressure, showcasing curated lives that highlight success, creativity, and productivity.
Why do we need so many extra accolades?
Cooking a meal, or spending time at home, don’t always come with accolades, but they enrich our lives in immeasurable ways. The act of being human, of participating in the everyday, is a worthy pursuit in itself.
So, Returning to Our Humanity?
It’s perfectly valid to strive for goals and pursue passions, but these pursuits shouldn’t overshadow the importance of just being ♥︎
